Lloyds TSB had identified a corporate objective of integrating many of their separate business and admin departments into a single dedicated building. A prestigious new premises was created in the heart of Birmingham city at Colmore Row. This was to be a 'flagship' project with efficient space planning and an integrated storage strategy vital to its overall success.
Crucially, CUBIC were involved at the conceptual stage of the project, working with the project architect and structural engineer, to ensure that the building design would be able
to facilitate a truly integrated storage solution.
CUBIC design proposals were communicated using three dimensional CAD drawings, together with detailed costs clarifying all options required. These were presented at each 'key milestone meeting' to allow the project to move along comfortably on schedule.
"CUBIC designed, delivered and installed thirteen mobile shelving systems on time and on budget with each one tailored to the specific needs of our different departments - great work!"
